Police have arrested a suspect that had firefighters taking down blazes in Seattle's Madrona neighborhood for hours Monday night. The Seattle Fire Department confirmed it is investigating four fires set outside private homes in the neighborhood in the evening hours, starting around 7 p.m. The fires were all in the 600 block of 37th Avenue, 500 block of 31st Avenue and in the 500th block of 30th avenue. Spokane firefighters tell KHQ they are looking for a suspected arsonist who has been attempting to light fires around the University District and South Hill. The man is reportedly on a bicycle and has intentionally started at least four fires. A fire the suspect lit on E. Sprague Avenue and S. Erie Street did grow considerably.
