KOMO.COM, SEATTLE, WA - Flames scorched the interior of a commercial building near downtown Kent on Tuesday morning after transients started a fire inside the building that got out of control, emergency officials said. Firefighters and medics responded to the scene, in the 1600 block of West Meeker Street, at about 9 a.m. after receiving reports of smoke coming from the structure. Multiple people were inside the building when the first crews arrived, but all of them fled before they could receive any kind of first aid or medical treatment, officials said.
