KXLY.COM, SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Fire crews worked overnight to gain control of a large fire at an abandoned warehouse on E. Trent Ave. The former S&P Meats building caught fire around 8:30 Sunday evening. Flames could be seen from the roof. On Monday, Spokane Fire Cheif Brian Schaffer said the fire appeared to be arson. Firefighters worked overnight to get the fire mostly under control. One engine left Monday morning, but two others stayed on the scene to focus on extinguishing minor flames on the rear side of the building. Visit KXLY.com for video coverage.
