KOMO NEWS, UNION GAP, WA - Investigators say they have determined that the fire at a Union Gap home that led to the deaths of 2 people was intentionally set, and the deaths are being investigated as homicides. Union Gap Police and Fire responded to the house fire at the 2200 block of S 5th Avenue early Sunday morning. The next day, investigators discovered two bodies in the burnt home. The coroner's office confirming the two died of smoke inhalation. The fire was ruled suspicious, and after investigation it was determined the fire was intentionally set. Police are now investigating the deaths as a homicide. Anyone with information is asked to call Union Gap Police at (509)-248-0430.
