A 35-year-old man is in jail in connection to a Tuesday arson fire that destroyed a home near Othello. Adams County Fire District 5, deputies and the fire marshal's office responded about 3:15 p.m. Tuesday to a reported structure fire in the 600 block of South Danielle Road. Emergency personnel arrived to find a single-wide trailer fully-engulfed in flames, according to the Adams County Sheriff's Office. read more

A Spokane man, who set fire to St. Charles Parrish and School in 2021, will serve five years in federal prison for arson. The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Washington said the man was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $4,981,859.07 for damages from the fire and will serve three years of supervised release following his release from prison. read more
Investigators with the Snoqualmie Police Department and the King County Sheriff's Office are asking the public for help to identify a suspect or suspects wanted in an arson incident at the North Bend Taco Time. At about 4:50 a.m. on Dec. 31, an unknown suspect or suspects broke the drive-thru window of the Taco Time at 726 Southwest Mount Si Boulevard in North Bend. The suspect or suspects threw a firework inside the building, causing fire damage in the kitchen area and smoke damage throughout the building. An award of up to $10,000 has been made available through the Arson Award Fund for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case. read more
