KIRO TV, SHORELINE, WA — An investigation is underway to find out who damaged a Shoreline building where a new Black-owned business was supposed to open Thursday after Molotov cocktails were thrown at it early Wednesday. King County Sheriff’s Sgt. Ryan Abbott said that several incendiary devices were thrown at an outside wall where Black Coffee Northwest, located in the 16700 block of Aurora Avenue North, will operate. No one was hurt. The coffee shop shares the building with Bethany Community Church’s north offices. According to the Shoreline Fire Department, investigators are reviewing surveillance video to determine the identities of those involved. For video, click here
